Fitness Challenge

Now that the Thanksgiving holidays are over, I can now begin my weight lost journey. For the past year I been really struggling with losing weight (or maintaining a weight for that matter). But this time will  be different because I am determined and motivated. I also now have a diet and workout buddy, my mother (There's nothing like family bonding lol). My goal is to lose 30 lbs by my birthday which is January 28. I know a lot of you are going to say that it's unhealthy to lose that amount of weight in such a little time, but my response to that is if I'm doing it the right and healthy way, I see no problem with it. For the first week to help jump start my weight loss, I will be on a 1,200 calorie diet eating mainly fruits, veggies, and unprocessed food. For my exercise routine, I will go running 3 days out of the week. On the days I don't run except Sunday (my rest day), I will get on the elliptical machine for 20 minutes going as hard as I can. I will be keeping you guys updated with my results every Tuesday with my weekly results so stay tuned and wish me luck.
